Conservational framing
Framing can be done on several levels, depending on the emotional or financial value of an object. Together with you, we decide upon the appropriate protective features for a specific framing job.
Typically we frame at the conservational level, which means we use archival materials that don’t harm your valuables, and that our framing is reversible.
Wood, paper and adhesive can affect the colour of your art (think of blue photographs and yellowed art) and make it brittle. Aso, external factors such as moist and light have their effect. That’s why I use non-invasive acid-free materials, and our frames our professionally closed to protect the inside against moist and bugs.
Having your valuables framed in a proper, conservational manner, they will be protected for future generations to enjoy.
